What kind of content should we create?

Creating content to attract the right audience is the daily responsibility of every small business owner or the marketing team.
Today, there are many small and solo businesses in Canada that are run by a few people. Many of them are family businesses and there is not a big business structure in place.
So, it is hard to say that who is really responsible to create content. If you ask me, all people in a business are responsible. All personnel is engaged with clients in a way. Some of them directly, via phone, email, or social media.
So, let’s not put content creation’s responsibility on the shoulders of one person.
But, the main question is that what kind of content we should create to be able to serve the right audience.
If our content does not connect with the right audience, I assure you that no matter how much content you create and where you distribute it, you will not see any results from this hard-working task.

Based on the stats, about 84% of C-Levels, like Chief Executive Officers, Marketing Officers, Recruiting Officers, Sales Officers, etc. use Social Media to make purchasing decisions.
This means, amongst all other kinds of content, you need to create the content they are looking for, as part of your small business social media marketing strategy.
C-Levels do not essentially need very formal and well-formatted high-quality content. They are human beings. But they want to know that your products and services are worth to be considered.
They are always busy people and are looking for products and services with affordable quality, easy purchasing process, fast delivery, easy return policies, and most importantly, perfect customer support over different platforms.
A C-Level person may not have time to wait behind the line, listen to your phone system music, and get poor customer support. They need to have access to your team on a variety of other platforms, like, social media, messaging apps, email, etc.
So, as you can see, dealing with C-Level customers needs your business to be prepared for some kind of digital transformation. This transformation will contain your content creation tasks up to your business processes.
I am not going to enter the digital transformation area in this episode. I just wanted to trigger the subject in your mind. I am sure you will go and do your study.
