Guide your audience through a designed journey with Call To Actions (CTA)

A common mistake that most digital marketers or small business owners do is to assume that people know what to do next.

We think that when a new audience lands on our website or one of our social media pages, they can easily figure out the next step.

But this is wrong! People are very lazy these days. They expect us to tell them what t exactly do, step by step and in a very simple and plain language. If we leave them to figure out by themselves, then they will leave us in a fraction of seconds.

Call To Action or simply CTA is a very important component of a client’s journey. The journey starts from the time that a stranger lands on our website to the point that they decide to become our customer. This journey should be designed and clients should be guided through different steps of the journey.

Never leave them to figure out or decide what to do next. After reading an article, after clicking on a link, after subscribing to our newsletter, after adding a product to the shopping cart, and after all and every action they do, ASK them what to do next.

Getting your audience in the habit of engaging with you by following your lead in your CTAs is a lot more powerful than just having them comment saying you look cute –which is super nice of them, but doesn’t get you closer to your business goals.

So here we go…

20 CTAs that you can use in your social media content to engage your audience.

  1. Vote for your favorite in the comments

  2. Double-tap if you agree!

  3. Guess which of these is a lie

  4. Swipe to learn more (for carousels)

  5. Save this for later

  6. DM me for the link

  7. Link in bio

  8. Ask me anything

  9. Tap for the link

  10. Share if you agree

  11. Take a screenshot

  12. Read more in the blog

  17. Introduce yourself in the comments
