Who is a content creator?
Most of us spend our “consuming time” on YouTube/Twitter/Instagram/TikTok, etc. following a handful of personal or corporate brands we trust or enjoy their perspectives.
As I see, anyone creating written, spoken, or imagery content that addresses a particular niche or topic is a content creator.
Now let’s start to review a list of some money making ideas that you as a content creator can consider for 2022.
Charge by the hours
This one is really interesting and could be a very new concept to many experts. Give advice and get paid based on the time you spend!
If you believe in the skill you have and think it is valuable or enjoyable to a specific market, charge for that information. platforms like
Offer opportunities to monetize your skills/teachings.
Go Exclusive
People like to be recognized and like to look different than the crowd. They like to be part of a community and these tools help you build that community for them:

All allow for you to add an extra exclusivity to your content and create a community of like minded fans.
Merch It Up
I know this isn’t anything new but I’ve seen it done a few times in pretty seamless ways.
The idea is to design merchandize around your personal or corporate brand or around your cause, and let your followers and fans buy them.
Platforms like:
Make it easy to design and sell merchandise.
Affiliate Marketing
Something that not enough creators are taking advantage of even in this day and age. Making a few bucks off the tools, brands, and products you ACTUALLY use and like is not a bad thing.
It’s actually a massive revenue stream that should be taken more seriously!
You can start from:
Build a Product/Service
Different than Affiliate marketing and a bit more work involved – but if you’ve already worked so hard to garner the audience, learn what your people are interested in, build it, and profit from it!
Teach a Course
Something I strongly belive that could change a life by the amount of income that can generate and less efforst. I am not saying it is easy. You need a lot of work to do. But once a course created, your money machne will contineu to work for ever!

If you ask me from which platform to start, I would say Teachable is for those who have a structured course and Gumroad is for those who want to sell educational pieces of content like eBooks, training videos, etc.
Get onto Youtube!
Not totally applicable for those writers out there and definitely not for those who are camera shy.
I’ve seen some awesome whiteboard videos rack up crazy numbers with voiceover. So, it is not a MUST to show up in front of the camera. Even screen capturing and creating educational videos without your face will still be a good opportunity for becoming a YouTuber!
Youtube monetization doesn’t start until 4000 hours of watch time and 1000 followers. So, get ready for hard and consistent work.
